BLT Recipes


Wind & Willow products are outstanding on their own, but they also serve as a base for many terrific recipes. Each month we will feature some of our favorites. It's here! The BLT from Wind & Willow. Whether serving it as a cheeseball, a sandwich spread, a potato topper or a salad show stopper . . . you're going to love this little packet of fun! Just when you thought summer couldn't get any better, we're proud to introduce your new favorite season(ing), The BLT!


Potato Salad Quick Tip!

INGREDIENTS:

1 Package - Wind & Willow BLT Cheeseball Mix
Prepared potato or pasta salad


DIRECTIONS:
Prepare potato salad (or a pasta salad) as usual and then add dry BLT Mix to taste. Want to add some interesting color? Try adding some of the Herb and Tomato Topping as well. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until ready to serve.


 

Super Spuds!

INGREDIENTS:


1 Prepared Wind & Willow BLT Cheeseball Mix
1 8 oz. cream cheese
Baked Potatoes

DIRECTIONS:
Prepare The BLT Cheeseball as directed. Add a spoonful to top your baked potato. Super in a second!


 

The BLT Hot Bites!

INGREDIENTS:

1 Package: any flavor: Wind & Willow BLT Cheeseball Mix
1 8 oz. cream cheese
4 Tbs. mayonnaise
White Sandwich bread slices

DIRECTIONS:
Pre-heat oven to 425. Combine BLT Mix with 8 oz of cream cheese and 4 Tbs. mayonnaise. Trim the crust from 12 slices of white sandwich bread. Cut into 2 equal strips. Spread each strip with 1 Tbs. BLT mixture. Roll up from the short end of the strip. Dip open ends in Herb and Tomato Topping. Wrap with 1/2 strip of bacon (covering open ends) and secure with a toothpick. Bake for approximately 7 minutes or until bacon is done. Your guests will fight for the last bite!


 

The BLT Sandwich!

INGREDIENTS:

1 Package: any flavor: Wind & Willow BLT Cheeseball Mix
1 8 oz. cream cheese
4 Tbs. mayonnaise

DIRECTIONS:
Mix the BLT Mix and Herb and Tomato Topping Mix with 8 oz cream cheese and 4 Tbs. of Mayonnaise. Spread on toast and add Bacon, Lettuce and Tomatoes for a sandwich worth remembering!
